Service
Management System (SMS)
ECO’s Service Management
System is a management
tool designed for people
and organizations that
provide service to
customers, with a common
desire to provide better
quality service,
maximize profitability
from the provision of
service, and reduce the
risk associated with key
personnel in the
provision of service.
SMS performs four key
functions, namely:
1.
Capturing of requests
for service, or work and
allowing service
providers to record
activities spent
attempting to resolve or
complete the job. 2.
Information is captured
from the front line
service provider
including time spent and
work done. This ensures
that all items of work
are charged to the
customer, if applicable.
3. Communicating to
customers about their
job, ensuring that they
are constantly kept up
to date on the status of
jobs, field document,
etc. 4. Gathering of
knowledge about work
done either on a
job-by-job basis, or
more formally through a
‘knowledge base’ for all
service providers to be
able to reference. SMS
allows everyone in your
organization to view
work order status with
its related field
document (PDF) in a
real-time manner. The
system is designed
around the business
rules for the Equipment
Servicing for
Retailers. The data
exchange between
vendors, store owners
and service provider is
feasible using XML and
Microsoft .NET
technology.
SMS is
designed and developed
with three key
components in mind;
intuitive and easy to
use, simple and rapid to
deploy, and low total
cost of ownership
allowing customers to
seize a greater ROI
quickly. We believe
that SMS may benefit you
if you are a contractor
or service provider who
likes to improve your
bottom line.
